To control the masses is the core
of all religions. Cause the people to conform according to the rules of
an invisible godhead, as interpreted by the noble Priesthood. Fear of the
consequence of the unknown mythical: "Hell's Fire" is sufficient to keep
the mindless masses in step. The clergy thrives on this sort of thing.
It
is the honor/duty of every citizen on earth to evolve into the state of
independence where Free Will may be exercised with responsibility and without
fear. This status would eliminate the need for churches. Governments and
commerce would also become obsolete. This is our next quantum leap into
our future.
Religions unite in their unyielding
stand to bar this door from ever opening. Their ace in the hole is the
"savior system". As individuals we must be "saved". Governments use the
word "vote". When we all "get saved", then as a group, we can all go to
"heaven". Or as a politician would have it: a block of mindless votes puts
his party in power.
Religions betray evolution. There are
many steps between the cradle and the grave. Each step must be taken freely
without influence or protection from any organization. Religions prohibit
this in order to insure their contrived existence.
Religions were created to satisfy the
egos of a few men. The mindless masses dutifully support this perpetual
betrayal.
